Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Recipe

This cheesecake is so mouthwatering, with chocolate fulfillment and peanut butter makes for a combination of deliciousness…..Give it a try and let me know what you think.

The only bad part of making this is that it is supposed to sit for 4 hours in the freezer before serving it.  Thank goodness there are bowls and spoons to lick!  It seems complicated the first couple of times making it, but hopefully my directions and pictures will help you make sense of it.

  • 1 cup oreo crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp margarine
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups cool whip
  • 2 squares semi-sweet baker’s chocolate (2 oz)

Baileys Ice Cream Recipe – Yum!

I was at a New Year’s party last year and they were serving baileys ice cream shooters and I just had to have the recipe.  When I make it, I don’t have them as shooters though….I’m kinda bad.  I make it and put it into a container so after it freezes I can scoop it into an ice cream cup and enjoy like nobody’s business!

homemade ice cream

I’m sure there’s a moderation factor here, but it’s sooo delicious, I don’t think it matters.  Maybe just don’t drive if you eat the whole container.

Just a quick warning…this is highly addictive and also probably shouldn’t be shared with the little ones!

  • 1 vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup baileys
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/2 container cool whip
  • 1/2 cup oreo crumbs

Mennonite Scrambled Eggs

I got this scrambled egg recipe from a grandmother, who lived her life trying to make her resources go a bit further, and last a bit longer.  Even if it’s as simple as adding flour to your basic scrambled eggs to feed a few extra mouths.  Well this recipe does just that, and I hope you try this mennonite scrambled egg recipe with your family and enjoy it. Marshmallow Salad Recipe – I know it as Tomorrow Salad

This salad is great for family get togethers and needs to be made one day in advance.  The marshmallows and fruit are a favourable, tangy combination of deliciousness (my opinion, not my husband’s!)  This recipe is so easy and quick to make, you will not be disappointed (unless you are my husband).  A big thank you to my sister-in-law Natasha for this one!

Ingredientsfruit and marshmallows

  • “smaller” bag of mini marshmallows
  • 1 small can of mandarin orange segments
  • 1 small can of pineapple tidbits
  • 2 cups sour cream (sounds healthy now!)

The Best Ginger Snap Cookie Recipe – The Wishart Ginger Snaps

The aromas and ingredients, the warmth….it’s to die for! I hope you enjoy making them as much as I do.

Wishart Ginger Snap Cookies

I found this recipe in an old, old red duotang in my mother-in-law’s “stuff” after she passed away. Lots of great recipes, and this is one of my favourites. Continue reading “The Best Ginger Snap Cookie Recipe – The Wishart Ginger Snaps”
